Looks fun!
It was so fun! Thanks for visiting!
Adams Family,
Just a minor correction; the church that Pastor Serven shepherds is Covenant Family Church, not Covenant Family Fellowship. And while I'm at it I think you mean Pastor James not Pator James.
Looks like it was a great event. Wish I could have been there this year.

Woops! Thanks Mr. Peter Bringe! Perhaps you can proofread all of my posts! LOL! Seriously thank you for the corrections! That is what I get for typing with a baby on my lap:)
Greetings, Dana!
I was blessed to meet you all in Morton! Thank you for leaving a comment with your blog address..I lost the card :( I think you do well to type with a baby on your lap :) may I ask a question? We just went to NC for the gospel-Centered Marriage conference. There we met many reformed people, some of whom practice pedo-baptism and some of whom only adult baptism. Both are reformed and both are committed that the other is wrong. What do you practice at Providence Church? We are wondering about this and had never known this distinction before. I hope this is OK to discuss...it seems to be 'the elephant in the room' which no one wants to talk about and there are lots of courtships which will need to address this, (I think).
Blessings and grace to your family, new friend,
Jacqueline
OH Jacqueline! So good to hear from you! You went to that awesome conference!! Praise the Lord I had many friends there!
First, Providence Church is not our home church! We attend Covenant Family Church in Troy MO as frequently as we can as it is 3 hours from our south central MO home!
I think what you noticed was the difference between Reformed Baptists, and Presbyterian doctrine on the issue of infant baptism! And yes they are both solidly reformed in doctrine! They do differ on this issue but they differ in grace letting the other live according to their conscience! We have many friends who are Presbyterian and many who are Reformed Baptist and they are all one in a solid understanding of the doctrine of grace! That is why there are so many of these events with Presbyterians like James McDonald, Joe Morecraft, and Marcus Serven right along side of Reformed Baptists like Doug Phillips and Voddie Baucham and Paul Washer etc. I hope that answers your question! I do so hope to hear from you more! Blessings! (keetsrus@yahoo.com is another email if you need it!) Dana And thanks for visiting our humble blog!
OH and at Providence I believe they practice both but they would adhere to infant baptism. If I am incorrect perhaps Mr Peter Bringe could correct me! LOL! As well, Covenant Family Church practices infant baptism.
