Wonderful Week!

  What a wonderful week we had! Beginning with a father/daughter  bible study at the Saffas, an evening at the Littmanns, several days in KC with friends and viewing historic Confederate sites....then, as if that weren't enough....fellowship at Covenant Family Church (not fellowship hehehe) with an awesome Christ honoring Thanksgiving celebration!!! We had the absolute privilege of meeting and listening to Dan Ford and Peter Bringe....all of that great activity and we didn't get a single picture!!!!! Sigh! Maybe next time!

  We are looking forward to the upcoming premier of the Sons of Georgia movie in December! (Lord willing!)...so much going on!

  Our prayer for you all is that you would enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving, being truly grateful to our Gracious Lord for all of His provision toward us! 

The blessing of fellowship

     I like to call it Fellowship Divine! You know, when you spend time with like minded people! Folks who have the same world view and goals as you...true brothers and sisters in the Lord- who love the Lord and know how to pray. Well we are off for a week to spend time with families like that and I am so blessed and excited to be doing so!
No of course we all don't agree on everything, and we don't only sit around and pray when we are together! Though that would be alright! We just 'share life'. Spend time doing 'what we do' and we involve one another while we are doing it. We may do something special, but most likely we don't!
I'll miss all that I could have done being at home with school and projects and the wonderful everyday routine! But I think it is worth the time and effort to maintain these friendships and share in this fellowship divine!
It is a very worthwhile endeavor to build up friendships for all of eternity! He who has friends must show himself friendly! There aren't a whole lot of things you can give to a person that is more important than the sacrifice of yourself and your time. I never feel more blessed than when people do that for me! 
That is what we are doing by homeschooling our children. Giving them of ourselves and our time and building up relationships in their lives...relationships to their family, us their parents and helping them in their relationship to the Lord.What is more valuable than that?

Another sweet surprise!!!!

Cynthia Saffa!!!!

I know this dear lady's name now! If you follow our blog at all, you know that I met this 'dear lady' at the CHEF conference. I thoroughly enjoyed out short chat but couldn't remember her name! Imagine my surprise when I saw her at the set of the filming of SONS OF GEORGIA! One of the many blessings of this journey!

 I just 'gotta' add! Thank you Beecher, Mr. Littmann and Mr. Proch!!! On our way home we broke down!!! We were on the freeway and the car just stopped having power! Ugg! I confess I was a little excitable and said "Pull over pull over!!!" Praise the Lord my dear husband IGNORED me! He kept going, on down the freeway, to the exit, through a yield sign, a green light and 2 blocks later ended up in a parking spot at a gas station! Only he could pull that one off! I always knew he was wonderful and he proved it again:)
  The Littmanns and Proch's had been driving ahead of us and wondered 'Where did they go?"  Praise the Lord our cell phone had been forgotten at the Littmanns and Beecher had the idea to use it to find the girls phone numbers...as I was frantically trying to find the Littmanns phone number (via my kindle) Beecher called! Wow! So out they all came to take Brett to an auto parts store and with 5 minutes to spare, they got the part, installed it and we were on our way! Well,....not quite on our way yet! We thoroughly enjoyed some more sweet fellowship, the kids and I had the incredible pleasure of getting to know Beecher more! The men had more meaningful minutes of visiting! That has got to be one of the best break downs we have had yet! Thank you!!!!

Fellowship Divine!

 Sweet like-minded fellowship is a rare thing indeed! I don't mean fellowship where all involved agree exactly on every doctrinal issue; but the type of fellowship where we have Christ in common.
 Our family was eternally blessed by all of the families we met this week as we had the privilege of helping with the filming of "Sons of Georgia". Where do I begin? The Littmann family of course! Stephen is doing an incredible job of directing this movie! The Saffa family! They wrote the script and what an amazing job they did! We were so blessed to meet the McCardie family, the Browns, the Proch's, the Prices, the Dischers, the Brabos, the Englands, Aschbrenners, Mays....Wow! Thank you all for the precious memories!~ Forgive me if I fail to mention anyone!!!
  And as if that weren't enough...the Lord gave me a special blessing in that we were FINALLY able to meet the Servens! Pastor Marcus and Cheryl it was a pure pleasure to meet and fellowship with you on Sunday!  Brett is looking forward to the Mens Advance and we pray that pastor Morecraft is able to come!
  We hope you all are able and willing to stay in touch with us! 
  We have  'coined a phrase' in our home; "Its all eternal". All of the relationships and experiences that we shared have eternal value and we thank you again for the great experience!
