We have mentioned before that we love to incorporate our own family history in teaching history..well this book has made it possible for us to do it again! It is all about the Scottish Covenanters and their plight in Scotland! Our kids have a g.g.g grandfather on my side who is notated in church rolls as 'The Great Scottish Covenanter William Kendrick'. We have been blessed to be able to include our family history in our homeschool as well. I'm related to Sgt. York. Yep, *that* Sgt. York! Fun to be able to identify with real people!
